Aaaand we're back, just in time to announce this year's fall concert: Fall Tonic XXX! It will be held this Friday, November 6, at 8pm in Bailey Hall.

Welcome Class of 2013!

August 19, 2009

Hey Everyone,

Welcome back to Cornell. We hope that you have missed us almost as much as we have missed you.

As a way of proving how much we love you, we have scheduled three (yeah, thats right, three) archsings in the coming week.

Sunday 8 PM at Court Kay Bauer on North Campus
Monday 7PM at Balch Arch on North Campus
Tuesday 7:30 PM at Baker Flagpole on West Campus

So, plenty of opportunities for you to hear us, right?

And if just hearing us sing isn't enough, well we have great news. The Hangovers are (as always) looking for new members. If you think you have what it takes to be a Hangover, check out the Glee Club, our superset.

As the Hangs are the subset of the Glee Club, we only recruit out of this organization, but considering the Glee Club is one of the top male choirs in the world, and its full of great guys, this isn't much of an issue.

To look into trying out for the Glee Club follow this Link. http://www.gleeclub.com/about/auditions.php

Shortly after Glee Club has accepted new guys, we will hold auditions for Hangovers.

Its great to be back, and we can't wait to see you all under the arch!

Love,

The Hangovers

Let the Auditions Begin!

September 4, 2008

Dear New GC Members,

Well done! The Cornell University Hangovers would like to welcome all 27 of you to the brotherhood that is our parent organization, the Cornell University Glee Club. You are all talented musicians and we are glad to have the opportunity to sing with you.

Now that you've become part of the Glee Club, the Hangovers encourage you, as well as all returning Glee Club members, to audition for our group. First-round auditions for the Hangovers will be held this Friday, with callbacks on Saturday. Just sign up for a time by talking to one of our members and come prepared with a contemporary solo to sing for us (dear, God, no show-tunes, please). Try to pick something that shows off your talent as a singer and shows off your range. This is your opportunity to show us what you've got. In addition to singing a solo, we will check your vocal range and pitch memory, then ask you to do a bit of sight singing and to sing along to one of our songs in a quartet with the group.

See you there!
